From metres to litres

Between 23rd-25th May we were inviting visitors to immerse themselves in our water inspired showroom, themed around Textile fluidity: weaving wool for water, with dynamic drapes, displays and droplets, representing the movement, fluidity and calming tones of water.

Using our Synergy collection of wool blend fabrics: Synergy, Synergy 170, Corrosion, Individuo, Landscape and Zig Zag, alongside a selection of our bast fibre fabrics, we displayed tonal combinations of fabrics and explained how our Synergy collection turns metres into litres in support of water charity, Just a Drop.

Since the launch of Synergy in 2016, Camira has partnered with Just a Drop to help deliver accessible, clean and safe water where it is needed most. For every metre of fabric sold from the Synergy collection, Camira makes a donation to a project in Kenya.

From fibre to yarn

We were holding a flash factory with live spinning demos every day by our expert spinner, Andrew Blacker. Visitors could have a go and spin it to win it!
